On 22nd November 2023, CSCEC ME R1013/2D Improvement of Al Shindaga Corridor Phase 2D Project won the Global Project Excellence Award from the PMI-KSA during the 2023 PMO Summit held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The trophy was awarded by H.E. Engineer Badr Bin Abdullah Aldulami, Vice Minister of Transport and Logistics Services for Roads of Saudi Arabia, and Engineer Badr Burshaid, President of the PMI KSA Chapter. As the only Chinese enterprise awarded this year, CSCEC ME not only reflects the wide recognition of the quality brand image in the UAE but also further improves the brand influence in Saudi Arabia.
R1013/2D Shindaga Project is a continuation of the Infinity Bridge in Deira Dubai. This package is the flagship project of the Shindaga corridor and has significantly improved the traffic situation in the old town upon completion. The project is also the only segmental bridge project in Dubai in recent years which adopted an innovative green construction technology called “Short-Line Match Casting Technique for Precast Segmental Construction”. The project has won the IPMA Global Project Excellence Award – Gold Winner in 2023, as well as various International Safety Awards and several technical awards from CSCEC.
