CSCEC ranked top 80^th among Fortune Global 500, 2013

At 20:00hrs on July 8^th, “Fortune” magazine released its 2013 Fortune 500 list. The newly released Fortune Global 500 list shows that China State Construction Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as CSCEC) is ranked number 80. CSCEC’s annual turnover grew enormously to US$ 90.6 Billion resulting in the company rising 20 places having previously entered the Top 100 in 2012. CSCEC is also ranked 11^th amongst the 95 Chinese companies on the list (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) by Fortune Global 500.

The scale of international contractors remains steady. The Spanish group ACS is ranked at No. 202 with an annual turnover of US$ 50.1 Billion, moving up 38 places from 240^th.  The French company Vinci is ranked at No. 203with annual turnover of US$ 49.6 Billion, moving down 20 from 183^rd. Another French construction giant Bouygues, whose turnover is US$ 43.3 Billion, is ranked at 240^th, moving down 22 places compared with its previous position of 218^th. The American Fluor rose 51 places to No. 422 by achieving US$ 27.6 Billion annual turnover.

CSCEC was first ranked in Fortune Global 500 in 2006 when it was ranked 486^th, and it has risen every year since as follows: 396^th, 385^th, 292^nd, 187^th, 147^th, 100^th, and 80^th according to the statistics of Fortune Global 500.
