On June 28, 2024, China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Middle East) (CSCEC ME) officially received the notification of award from the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) for the R1155-SH0023 King Salman Street Viaduct and Al Naseem Street Project.
The project involves constructing a two-lane bridge spanning 1500 meters in length. The bridge extends from Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Harbour, and once completed, it will reduce the travel time to and from Dubai Harbour from 12 minutes to 3 minutes.
