CSCEC ME Participated in the 3D Printing of Dubai’s Office of the Future which Achieves a Guinness World Record

CSCEC ME participated in the 3D Printing of Dubai’s Office of the Future which achieved a Guinness World Record on 21st February. President & CEO Mr. Yu Tao and Vice President Mr. Zhu Jianchao were invited to attend the award ceremony.

The Office of the Future, a small white building with 250 square meters at the foot of the World Trade Centre, is built entirely of 3D-printed walls, floors and ceilings.

The Office of the Future was inaugurated in May 2016 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. CSCEC ME worked as the general contractor from design to construction. Overall, it took 17 days to print, 2 days to install and 3 months to build, including the landscape and interior design. The project won the Silver Prize of CSCEC Technology Award in 2017 as well.
