On 22nd November 2016, Dubai-based famous media group, CPI held the 2016 edition of the Big Project Middle East Construction and Sustainability Awards of Excellence at Emirates Tower, Dubai. President & CEO, Mr. Yu Tao won the Construction Executive of the Year Award. And the Dubai Water Canal Package II Project defeated many mega projects in the Middle East and won the Infrastructure Project of the Year Award.
After receiving the awards, Mr. Yu expressed that due to the lower oil prices, the construction industry in the Middle East is facing the challenge regarding tight cash flow and delayed payment. However, our management team has insisted on paying close attention to high quality and has good faith in compliance with delivering excellent projects. The success of winning these prominent awards are motivating us to deliver more high-quality projects in the following years.
Big Project Middle East’s Construction and Sustainability Awards of Excellence is an annual event aims to recognize and appreciate the efforts of the individual and leaders in the construction industry throughout the GCC as it strives to maintain the high standards and quality that it is renowned for across the world.
